About Trocola
Trocola puts your AI decisions back with the people who run your business.
Your call.
A world where AI doesn't eat people.
To make sure no one is left at the mercy of a decision nobody owns.
"I make sure AI doesn't eat people." Christopher Trocola
Everyone wants to move fast. Nobody wants to say where they're going. We make sure you know.
Trocola puts your AI decisions back with the people who run your business, using the controls they already know how to run. You get one owner for AI, a team of your own trained to run it, and a business that can move fast because it knows where it's going.
We build the department, train your operators, and leave. We build the engine; your team drives it.
Most AI strategies we see are fear with a budget. Companies pay one firm to tell them what to fear and another to watch it happen. There's a difference between a strategist who's carried risk and a consultant who's carried a slide deck. You don't need another dashboard. You need a name on the decision.
Trocola started with one person and one problem. Long before AI, Christopher Trocola watched good projects fail, and it was never the technology. It was the business: no clear owner, no clear decision, and nobody steering. He built the CT Framework to fix it and proved it in solar. Once, it meant telling a solar developer not to expand, eight months before Congress cut the solar tax credit short. Built in the field across 27 companies in six industries, the CT Framework has protected more than $500 million in regulated contracts, and it came with him when AI arrived.
AI made the problem bigger. This time the decisions were about people: who gets hired, where their money goes, what happens to their data. Somewhere a qualified applicant gets turned down and never learns a machine made the call. A family's loan gets flagged and nobody can tell them why. That's what it looks like when AI eats people. It happens quietly, and no one is there to answer for it. That is more than one person can cover.
So Trocola became a team. People who had spent their careers where getting it wrong had real consequences came to the same table: running operations and logistics, securing regulated environments, working the front lines of finance and technology, defending inventions in courtrooms from Germany to China, and teaching AI governance to the lawyers and judges who will apply it. Different industries, same lesson: if everyone's responsible, no one is. Put one name on the decision, and the business moves.
Trocola has certified more than 100 people against the CT Framework. Its CAIO Division builds the department inside a client's business, trains the people who will run it, and leaves. Everything Christopher built now runs under one name.
The job hasn't changed. Behind every decision is a person who deserves an answer. We make sure AI doesn't eat people.
Practice makes permanence. There is no such thing as perfect. How you practice is how you will perform.
- AI is a business problem, not a technology problem.
- We build the department. We train the people who will own it, then we hand it off. The process itself is the education.
- We train ourselves the way we train you.
- Your business already has governance. We connect it. We don't break it.
- Practical solutions, not theory.
- You cannot enforce a standard you never defined.
- Trust moves money.
We don't stop the flow of business. We direct it.

The founder behind the framework
Christopher Trocola is the Founder and CEO of Trocola Inc., a Delaware corporation built around a single conviction: artificial intelligence fails organizations for business reasons, not technical ones. Companies rarely struggle because their models are weak. They struggle because no one translated the regulation, the risk, and the responsibility into a process their people could actually follow.
That conviction shapes everything Trocola does. Christopher works directly with leadership teams, placing trained AI leadership inside organizations, uncovering the tools already running unmanaged in the background, and building the operating discipline that lets a business use AI with confidence instead of guesswork.
He speaks and appears on panels internationally on AI strategy, emerging technology, and business transformation, bringing the same message to every stage: the gap most organizations face with AI is a leadership gap, and it can be closed.
"AI is knowledge without wisdom. Give an organization the wisdom, and the technology finally becomes an asset instead of a liability."

Built for leadership facing a specific moment
Sizing an AI Hire
Weighing a fractional versus full-time Chief AI Officer and want the role scoped correctly before it's posted.
Answering to a Board
Investors or board members are asking what AI is running inside the company, and no one has a confident answer yet.
Ahead of Leadership
Teams are already using AI daily. Leadership just hasn't caught up to what that means yet.
Three ways Trocola brings AI leadership into an organization
Trocola publishes the CT Framework and places people, process, and accountability inside client organizations so AI adoption stops being accidental.
Sprint AI Strategy
A focused starting engagement. Trocola runs an AI fluency check and a shadow AI discovery pass so leadership can see, in plain terms, what is actually happening with AI inside their organization before committing to anything larger.
Enterprise AI
The flagship engagement. A Fractional Chief AI Officer is placed directly inside the organization, uncovering unmanaged AI use, assessing leadership readiness, and building trained, accountable AI leadership department by department.
Certification
The pathway into Trocola certification for AI leaders and practitioners. It shows a leader has been evaluated against the CT Framework, not simply completed a course.

What's Already Running
The shadow AI inside every organization, and how to find it fast.
Building Leadership That Lasts
Turning regulation and risk into a process a team actually follows.
Before you book the call
The CT Framework. Trocola certifications are issued by Trocola against the CT Framework, the same standard client engagements are built on.
A consultant advises. Trocola places trained AI leadership inside the organization and builds the operating discipline to run without ongoing help.
The organization keeps the trained leadership and the documentation, with the option to retain Trocola in an advisory capacity if wanted.
No. Certification is a separate path for leaders and practitioners. Working with Trocola doesn't require it.
